The Camera Cluster for iPhone and Cluster Manager apps use the encryption technologies found in Apple’s Multipeer Connectivity framework.
Video Streams
For video streams generated or processed by the Camera Cluster for iPhone and Cluster Manager apps, you can install your own TLS certificate for ultimate control.
Automatically Migrate Video Processing
If an iPhone cannot process visual effects or perform AI analysis fast enough, you can choose to reroute the unmodified video stream to another device in the cluster to apply the effects or perform analysis. When the transfer occurs, you may see the raw video stream for a few frames until the receiving device takes full control. Additionally, without installing a TLS Certificate, sensitive information might be visible since the raw video stream will be sent over your local network prior to person segmentation is applied by the new device.
